I made the switch to Mac a couple of years ago and was unable to find a financial program that would allow me to keep my history and complete the things that I wanted to track, and therefore I have been continuing to run Quicken for Windows 2013 using Parallels on my Mac. It is SUPER SLOW!Finally, QM 2015 is here! This program does mostly what I want. I was part of the beta team and am very happy with the stability of the final product.The conversion process worked well except my larger primary checking and credit card which have a very large history. I was able to track down the specific errors and get my QM 2015 in line with my QW 2013 in about 30 minutes. All my other accounts, to include my investment accounts converted seamlessly! You must install the conversion utility on your Windows machine/partition and convert from there. Then import the converted... I have used Quicken for Windows in one form or another for almost over fifteen years or so and have loved it. When I got a Mac I tried Quicken Essentials and was very disappointed so used Parallels and QFW. But this new Quicken for Mac is a whole new ball game. Unlike Essentials, it can sync with banking, credit card and investment accounts. If you are interested you can also sync with your Apple or Android device, except for investments. Converting a windows file was important to me since I have files going back to the mid-eighties. The Windows converter worked fine with the caveat that the file you are converting has to be on the Window OS, not mac or cloud drives. There was a problem with the Fidelity Net Benefits account I have; this can be dealt with by deleting the account and re-installing it on Quicken for Mac. However, history is lost. I got the 16GB RAM upgrade, and the biggest SSD at the time : The 512GB version. I use it to run multiple VMs for testing ideas, or troubleshooting by setting up a clean environment to test instead of one that has grown organically.Anyways, with my testing VMs, 512GB wasn't enough. So I highly recommend also purchasing an external case, to protect your phone as well as improve the cell phone signal.Definitely you need to understand what you're buying. This iPhone will not work on any wireless carrier other than Verizon. You can't take this phone and switch over to AT&T or T-Mobile service, because they use a different cell phone technology than Verizon. A lot of the unhappy user reviews posted on Amazon for this product suggest to me that in many cases, the buyer just didn't understand what they were purchasing.Another problem may be with the prefilled Amazon product description. I own 2 other power banks and this is the only one that comes with a charger and bag. I'm not a big fan of the material used for the pouch (looks and feels like a shower sponge), but it's padded and useful for keeping all the cables and plugs in one place for throwing inside a suitcase. About the size of an old school cellphone, the battery itself is small and portable. Construction is solid, with a shiny piano black finish and blue LED circles that light up telling you the amount of charge left.It holds 5600 mAh, enough for a little under 4 full charges on the iPhone 4S and 5 (capacity 1430 mAh and 1440 mAh, respectively). The iPad 3 is about 11,600mAh, so this will give you about a 1/3 of a charge. In practice, I've never used a power bank on my iPad. I charge it up... The bank also came with a mesh-like bag which is a nice addition, but offers protection only from scratches. You will also find instructions, although this is mostly self-explanatory! The device came pre-charged for me, but I wouldn't count on it. This power bank does not come with Apple's proprietary charging cable, probably to avoid the licensing fees. This didn't affect my rating, but it seems to be a much-asked...

Having tried smart tv's from 3 brands, smart dvd/bluray players, Apple TV, WDTV, HTPC, Chromecast and too many other competing products to mention--for streaming content, before this box you really had two options (for a simple to use box that doesn't require additional items or tweaking):First is Apple TV which is easy to use (interface) but Apple limits the content you can get greatly (including no Prime Streaming built in) and it lacks a lot in features as well and is slow. The reason for selecting Apple TV is if you have other apple products that unlock features (like Amazon's content).The second option you could consider was Roku--which really means a Roku 3 box since it is heads and tails better than past Roku boxes in terms of remote and speed. Now Roku stands out with the most content and the most features of any box with the Roku 3. It is for that reason you will see me address the Roku 3 so... Having received my Fire TV today, I've been trying it out for the past couple of hours.Setup was a no brainer. It required an update immediately so it did take about 15 minutes to have it in action but the process was very simple.The image quality (movies and games) is excellent. I've tried several movies from Amazon Prime and they look and sound nearly Blu Ray quality as far as I can tell.Navigation is very straightforward and it's generally easy to find anything you're looking for. Installation of games and apps goes very smoothly and generally pretty quickly.The remote works very well. I haven't played with the voice search feature much yet, but when I have tried it, it worked well. The buttons on the remote are well thought out and I prefer it to the Apple TV remote.I only have one gripe. As far as I can tell, there's no way to limit the list of movies and tv shows to what is available for Amazon Prime members. This makes...
