When I received the battery, the first thing I did was compare the size with the original apple battery that I still had. The new battery was not exactly the same size and stuck up from the battery compartment a little bit. So far it hasn't caused a problem, but don't know if it will down the road. It only holds a charge for maybe 2 to 3 hours of sustained use, which is better than my original battery, but still less than I expected. It is cheaper than the apple battery, so this is one of those situations where it would be accurate to say that you get what you pay for.Update as of 5/29/12The batteries performance as improved some after being cycled a handful of times as instructed by a customer service rep. They also reminded me of a one year warranty ensuring that it will be replaced if is flawed. So far the fit of the battery has not been an issue. It is nice to know that the customer service is great, so even if it is a problem in the future, it will be taken care... After 5 years, my Macbook battery finally bit the dust. I originally bought a $27 China replacement from a USA seller on *another* marketplace. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience (it got stuck. I had to pry it out of my laptop with a butter knife. It also wouldn't hold a charge and stuck out the bottom of my macbook so that you couldn't slide it would scratching a surface).So I ponied up for this $45 battery from Anker and the experience has been great. The battery goes in and out just like the original. The metal finish matches the bottom of the macbook, it installs and is removed easily, and the charge is pretty much the same when my original battery was normal. The Anker battery does *almost* fit flush on the bottom. A few days ago I "upgraded" to 2013 and promptly went back to 2012. The new screen layout is a disaster. There are two main problems:1.) You can no longer change color schemes for your different companies to make it easier to tell which company you are working in. Actually, they have removed any and all ability for you to change the screen appearance in any way. Instead of adding functionality here, they just removed it all! They have decided that they know what fits you best and you can like it or lump it!2.) They have enlarged the screen fonts until there is at least 30% LESS information visible on the screen. Sure, large fonts can be seen from a distance, but you also can't see very many characters in the same space. So, what happens, is that to navigate your information you have to do MUCH more scrolling than you used to do. Scrolling takes time and is frustrating. Also, horizontally you can't see as many characters in a column. So if you have two names... Just something to consider before purchasing: Although I must say there are a few nice upgrades to this version over QB 2012, I don't think the average user will think they outweigh the major step backwards in the visuals of the new product. (The following complaint has now been remedied. See update below.) The color scheme has changed drastically. The desktop is a dull gray and the icon bar is black with thin white text for the titles -- very difficult to read and differentiate between the icons. The dullness gives me a head-ache, and I'm not the only one who feels this way. Definitely look at it on someone else's computer before making the investment. I'm hoping Intuit provides a fix to this problem so I can use this version, but for now I'm sticking with 2012!
