The base Apple computer model this upgraded model was built upon was MC506LL/A The Apple upgrades specific to this model are: Processor is increased from 1.4GHz to 1.6GHz RAM is increased from 2GB to 4GB i am currently writing this review after several weeks of use. i spent about 3 weeks researching different laptops before i got this one. it was no easy task. i hope this review will help you decide.i have the 1.6GHz, 4GB Ram, & 128GB Flash Storage. (not sure if this review will be placed for this specific spec or for all MacBook Air 11".)LAPTOP USE:mainly for work. checking email and managing contacts. viewing documents.i am also an amateur photographer so i will be doing some light photo work.huge gamer. see below for more details.DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION:there's not much to say regarding this. it's built like no other machine i've ever used. it's rock solid. i have read some reviews stating that they were concerned with the joint where the screen meets the keyboard area but it should not be of any concern. it feels great in your hands. i can find no flaws with the laptop itself. make sure you go to an Apple Store and play... I should admit upfront that I am not a scientist or engineer. Nor am I a gamer or video editor. I am a scholar and writer, so my use of this machine is largely limited to word processing, Power Point presentations, web browsing, and watching streaming videos. Thus, my experience will very likely differ from those who'll be using this computer to run several large and sophisticated programs simultaneously. Given these parameters, I am simply thrilled with this addition to Apple's MacBook collection. I am a relatively recent convert to Apple products after nearly two decades on PCs. So my views might be positively colored somewhat by the enthusiasm of the newly converted. I have been using a MacBook Pro 13" for the last year or so and I can safely say that this new MacBook Air 11" is simply a charm and a wonderful companion to the larger computer. Mine is the fully maxed-out model, with the factory-installed 1.6 chip, 4GB ram and 128 flash. I bought it to use for travel to libraries and... I have a core i7 main 15" MBP and I wanted a travel laptop. I figured for big trips I would need the big boy to take the load. I was wrong. I bought the pimped out 11" model and it has handled admirably. I would like a 256 model as well but I think I will be able to find a bigger flash drive soon enough. I have been amazed with the ease the 1.6ghz handled everything I threw at it and multitasked like a champ. I would not do any video editing or encoding on this little guy but I don't really do that on the road anyway. I think my 15" MBP will be getting a lot of at home time these days. if you have the money to pay the apple tax you will not be disappointed.

I purchased it because I would often times find myself scrambling to find extra power when away from home. I don’t carry my charging cables with me as I have a tendency of losing them or leaving them behind. I have discovered that I cannot leave home without this item. It is small enough to fit in my purse without adding a lot of extra weight. I hate being connected to wall plugs or car plugs as the cords always seem to be too short to use the phone while charging. This I can put in my lap or on the desk or bed next to me so that I can use my phone or tablet without having to put my neck or body in awkward positions. I highly recommend this item! I love this product! I cracked my IPhone 4 and I was so glad that I had purchased the insurance. I placed my claim, forwarded the necessary proof of purchase, received confirmation from Square Trade to take my phone into the Apple store for a replacement phone. The replacement price was $199 and once I was able to fax over a receipt for the new phone, Square Trade transferred $199 into my Pay Pal account. I received the money a couple of days after faxing over the receipt. I had a chose of having the money transferred on to my Amazon account, Pay Pal account, or a physical check mailed to me. I am glad that I purchased the insurance and I would recommend that others purchase insurance to protect their investment. I had a two year warranty on my iPhone 4 and after about a year and a half my home button didn't always work when I pushed it. I dealt with it for a while but decided to file a claim since I paid for the warranty. I will say that everything was relatively painless through Squaretrade's website, from filing the claim to keeping track of its progress. I received an email almost instantly that my claim was approved and that a replacement iPhone was on its way next day air. However, I was charged the $50 deductible (for accidental coverage). I called and the CS rep reversed that right away for me, stating that the home button issue was a hardware problem, not an accident. I received the replacement the following day. Again, it was painless.I activated the new phone and realized that it made a horrible rattling sound when it vibrated, it sounded like something inside was loose. Putting pressure on the back of the phone stopped the rattling. I called Squaretrade back,... Wonderful company! Been customer for years. I have over 15 items worth more than $400 each, even my treadmill, insured with SquareTrade and they have outstanding customer support and actually deliver on their word... if they cant fix it, they replace it. I have made repair claims for an old iPhone3G, 4, 4s, Bose earbuds, a treadmill, and a printer, and every time the process was smooth and handled quickly and easily. Highly recommend purchasing a warranty for any electronic device or online purchase.

I have had a couple other cases and this one beats them all by far. Well it won't change your life but it looks awesome. Its made of plastic with a thin rubber like coating on it which gives it a little grip. The coating will come off in places that get wear and tear. Mine is coming off on the bottom corners from rubbing against the zipper of my backpack. You can't really see it unless your really close because the plastic underneath is black as well. It's perforated so there is holes in it. These holes won't protect from spills and can get crumbs in them, but I'm pretty messy and have only had to pick out two crumbs in a month so it's not that big of a deal. The case fits great and doesn't move around. The main reason you need this case is it just looks cool. You will probably sit there and stare at your computer closed for 5 minutes and just think about how effin awesome your "new" macbook pro looks.

Like for the nerds, you have access to study groups, better grades, etc., but with the jocks, you may get the next exam in your hands, join parties, and a higher change of being popular. I don't know if you can befriend both groups, I have not tried it.You can live in a sorority house, which is where I've seen all the parties go down. The dorms, which have lots to do. Like exercise, games, study halls, and so much more. Finally, you can rent... I'm very happy with the gameplay, format, design, etc. I'd been waiting for them to finally come out with a University expansion for a long time. Does not disappoint.

The one caveat is this one, (the I8190), won't work with 3g data speeds. You will get Edge data speeds but if you want 3G Data in Mexico Telcel, or At&t in the US, you will need the I8190-L. That model has the 850 band that is essential to the Telcel and At&t 3G network data speeds. If I am mistaken on this fact, please correct me, however my research (and experience) spoke to this being true.Bottom line is the phone functions flawlessly and the Android OS is a breeze. Very easy to learn even if you are accustomed to iOS from Apple. Also has a few great features like NFC, toggling wireless and bluetooth and gps connections from the home screen; also a really useful feature of text to call where if you are texting someone and want to call them, you just lift the phone... Bought it from Wireless Everything. They had good ratings overall which encouraged me. Very vast shipping. Phone came with a U.S. electricity power supply, no international sockets although it came with a separate international adapter outside the phone box. No seal on the box but the phone was brand new with all wrapping. When turned on, the language was defaulted to English U.S., you just click OK. Color looks fantastic, way better than white or blue. Phone made in China, not Korea, or at least this color. I hope it hold for a while. Not sure yet about the quality of the battery. I will update my review in few weeks. All good, excellent phone, size and battery ok and no carriers logo. Recommended if you want a cheap powerful phone
