Summary:I had a tough time deciding between these three, and ultimately, I chose the Maxboost Defender Plus due to the battery capacity and ergonomics, as well as cost efficiency.Pros-*Has the largest battery capacity, up to 43.3% more (compared to Lenmar Meridian and Mophie Air).*Does not interfere with signal, camera, microphone, nor speakers noticeably.*Feels nice in your hands.*Solid construction.*All buttons and switches on the device feels great.*Comes with a headphone jack extender.Cons-*By far the biggest of the three, up to 21.6% bigger.*Headphone jack extender feels like it's made of bad/cheap quality parts.*Charging light stays on while being charged: this is annoying if you keep your phone by your bedside.*microUSB does not sync with iTunes: You must sync via wireless, or take off the case (note that this is the same for all three cases, but in the manual for the Maxboost Defender... |

The Plus is the first battery case which still remains a decent size and weight yet offers a massive amount of power. I tested the case by charging both the iPhone 5 and the battery case to full and waited to see how long they would stay powered as I went about my day. The Plus also has an ON/OFF power switch versus a button which makes it a little bit more user friendly to use than some others. The Plus uses a micro-USB cable which comes with the product.I use my phone quite often as... |

Because I am on the travel continuously for my job I have been looking for a portable battery case that can hold me over for a couple days. I came across the Plus and was astonished to read that it could carry a 3,000mAh battery. For those of you that are not familiar with that statistic, its additional 33% more battery capacity than most competitors. As promised the case did produce an extraordinary amount of power which kept me running longer. So in that regard I was happy.I was a little disappointed with a couple things. One, when I try to remove the top-piece of the case, sometimes the volume buttons get caught on the top piece and I end up removing the top-piece and the phone from the base unit. I have to take a little more time to remove the case carefully.Secondly, this just might have been me, but when I first received the Plus my phone was completely out of power. When I attached the Plus I realized I didn't know how to turn it on. When I connected the case,... |
