I originally had the top-of-the-line Otterbox (Defender) to protect my iPhone 4s. After only a month, the rubber molding around the plastic case would not stayed adhered and the rubber would pop up around the bottom part of the phone where the home button is. Plus, it was trying experience trying to put it together.The Ballistic, on the other hand, was simple to put together, the belt clip was easier to put the phone into it and take it out of it, and the protection is actually better, since it includes an optional rubber housing for those days where you want to carry the phone on hikes and you don't want it on your belt.Very satisfied customer. This case is large and bulky with the rubber outer shell on it as well as the hard plastic inner shell, but if you work in an environment where it's more than likely that the phone is going to get slammed around a little here and there- it's totally worth it. I could land on top of my iPhone, hipbone first, on a cement floor, and this thing would keep it safe and protected. Love this case. I feel my iphone is well protected now. Of course, the red and black case is perfect for Texas Tech fans! The bulk is not as bad as I expected, but it does make the phone weigh a bit more. I ordered from this in-state seller and got it in a week.
