Just got this mini-netbook for 13 year old son. I had been looking for an alternative keyboard device to replace the heavy and expensive laptop he needed for school. This little net book has the apps he needs space for him to add games as well. This is the perfect size and weight for him to take to school in his book bag. The fact it has an SD Card slot two USB slots were a Big selling point for me as well as installed Word Processing programs. The pre-loaded Apps are easy to use and the Android OS is familiar. I had a question about the item. I emailed the seller and the response was very fast and very helpful. |

This is a "first look" review, which may be added to later. I suggest the reading comprehensive review of "Jersey Girl" and her answers to comments for a lot of good info.First, the item arrived promptly, was well packed and the seller seems interested in being helpful and responsive.Second, if you plug it in and nothing happens, don't panic! You need to charge it for a while (six hours to full charge, but after 30 minutes or so, it will turn on.)Third, this is NOT a Windows unit. The look is similar to ill-fated netbooks of a couple of years back that ran WIN/CE (compact edition - originally for PDAs) but this is ANDROID, a much better OS that (unlike WIN/CE) is still alive and well.However, there will always be someone who doesn't read or understand this, and they will get online and complain that their kid is crying because he/she can't play their favorite Windows-based games. If you are looking for a Windows machine, look elsewhere... |

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kind consideration from WolVol. I purchased this unit and realized upon receipt that it would not work for the tasks I needed to use it for. I contacted WolVol and they were so quick in responding and amazing to deal with. They refunded me in full for the purchase with no problem. I did not have to jump through any hoops nor did I have to keep emailing. I will definitely purchase from this company when the need arises.As far as the netbook, i did open it when i received it and it was exactly as described and worked perfectly. I specifically ordered this unit because I wanted the smaller size netbook and this was the only model i saw that was less than the 10" which makes it great for portability. The problem was that i needed a Windows based unit and didn't realize that Android does not have that on it's platform.It makes me so happy to see that there are companies out there that still believe in... |
