I bought the drone mobile as an add-on for my car alarm/starter combo unit from compustar and so far it seems to work pretty good.The install needed to be done by a licensed installer (a friend works at a local place here) but after a few hours it was up and running.The reason I bought this was so I can have email notification and text message if your vehicle alarm goes off when you're not around and can't hear it (out of town or at a friends house). you can start / stop / arm / disarm everything right from your phone and it works great. There are a ton more options like geo-fencing and vehicle status and GPS location but you have to pay extra for all of that ($10 a month i think)Also this device only works in canada on the rogers network just so you know |
