It is a store return so I quess that explains scratches, but the ipod works fine and my grandson will keep it in ottercase so we can live with the scratches. These iPods were returned products and resells. Let's just say they looked brand new and you couldn't even tell the difference with the packaging. They work great as well. Thanks! Oh and the accessory kit was a nice touch. It works just fine but unfortunately it only holds 5 GB and not 8 GB of data. Not sure why this has happened. I changed my review and honestly I would only give this 2 stars because it physically is in excellent condition (appearance wise) Something is wrong with it and now I am out $169 for what I should have recieved.
