When I was first asked to provide a review for this barcode scanner, I didn't think my non-retail, non-industrial background was a good fit. After all, retailers and warehouse managers keep track of all the widgets in their inventory by use of barcode scanners. They could better judge the durability/reliability of a barcode scanner. This scanner was designed to withstand the bumps and bruises meted out to industrial equipment. It understands five languages, supports a smorgasbord of computer operating systems, understands every barcode type, and the Inateck does it all wirelessly through Bluetooth.After Bluetooth-pairing this unit to my iMac, iPad and Macbook Pro/Retina, I began to understand this scanner's practical uses for ordinary folks like me. At home I have Blu-ray, DVD and CD collections approaching 3,000 (and counting) films and musical recordings, not to mention a library of many books.
