The Metro Deluxe is a two-compartment case with plenty of storage and multiple pockets to keep you organized. Designed around the CORE Protection System this case will protect your portable from unexpected drops, bangs and bumps. Provides great protection; it fits the macbook pro like a glove, really good quality. Also, it't quite roomy. I can carry the MBP, the charger, an external HD with it's cables, a couple of books, a notebook, wallet, keys, iPod and my glasses case; although if you're planning on carrying all that on a regular basis, you should consider a backpack since it gets too heavy for one shoulder. Let's get the obvious out of the way: Brenthaven is generally in a class by itself when it comes to laptop bags. Consistently better built and more thoughtfully designed than Targus and other brands you often see used by "corporate types", this bag is no exception.I liked it so much I bought two. One for my 13" MacBook and another for my 15" MacBook Pro. To start, the cushioning around the "laptop container" area inside the bag is extremely well designed. Snug, and padded completely on all sides, including the top (by a split, fold-in foam "bridge" that closes when you zip the bag shut). The foam padding is the good stuff; dense and quickly retains its shape. Maybe .5"-.66" thick and is encased throughout in silver nylon so you can't tear it or dislodge it by accident. I always feel like if I accidentally drop the bag, my laptop is going ot be totally fine. It's a great piece of mind to have.Secondly, the front pocket has plenty of room for a large AC power... Extremely satisfied with this product. It is a "REAL" computer case for REAL people. Meaning that you can fit the MacBook in it safely, and still have room for a second battery, the power chord, a mouse, and a few files. The other cases I have looked at simply didn't measure up. Plus... the quality of this piece is outstanding. I definite must for today's business professional.
