After researching all of the reviews on this subject, including the various products out there, I found out two disturbing bits of info; one, all of the products leak and without recourse, and twoalot of the headphones break easily as well. So I came up with a winning combination of items to build my audio swim kit to secure its longevity and justify the investment.First, I shopped around and found the lowest price on a Waterfi Waterproof 4G iPod Shuffle.Next, next I bought some Pyle earphones and another brand not worth mentioning. (The Pyle work well and come with extra sets of various sized and shaped earbuds.)Then, I found an Agua-Pak product (and the item's name is also Aqua-Pak)that will hold a large or small ipod in a watertight seal. It also has a built in connector for earphones. I did this to provide extra protection for the waterproof ipod shuffle and it works very well. You get some heat transfer moisture inside the pouch sometimes... |

After looking at waterproof cases and such, I chose to go with the Water Fi Ipod. I am an avid swimmer, Its also part of my job, in the military. In order to meet the tough demands of my duties i am required to swim distances for time, this requires a lot of time spent working on that. SO i was looking for something to help take the boredom out of looking at lane lines and counting tiles. I purchased this product about 6 months ago and after daily use in a pool I have had no issues with it at all. Its small size clipped on the strap of my goggles is unnoticed. I would highly recommend this to any swimmer looking to make the laps more enjoyable. |

I always read reviews before buying any product but am very bad about writing them, especially if the product is just okay. However, with the Waterfi, I couldn't resist taking the time to write about this product. I swim 5 days a week a mile each day and the waterfi makes swimming so much more enjoyable. It is very dependable and holds a charge for a whole week. I never want to be without it. Quality is also amazing. |
