It is really slim and light. 2.5 oz of weight (I weighed it on a digital scale :-)) and about 1/3 of inch thick. So, it does not add much of bulk to iPhone 5 which I really like. I can access all my controls easily and it functions really well. It is a two piece design. By sliding the top piece into the base, this case provides all around protection for my iPhone. The LEDs are nice touch. Very helpful. At full power it will give me more than 100% charge/boost and still counting. I usually use this case only when I get to 10% or 15% battery life.The best part I like about this case is that that you can use the original Apple new 8 pin lightning charging cable (fits iPhone 5/iPad Mini) to charge the case. Therefore, one cable is all I need to carry. I wish the case does come with a spare cable which it does not. However, I managed to grab one from a local phone shop and it works fine. Anyway, an awesome product... I completely endorse the iPhone 5 but I'm not a big fan of it's battery life which for some reason has received rave reviews. If I am texting on my iphone 5 for six to eight hours straight chances are battery will be very low. If I am using it regularly it will last me the whole day but will require charge at night. I feel just using any of the phone's features runs the battery down. The worst thing you can possibly do is to turn the brightness down to minimal, refrain from using camera, refrain from using youtube or google, just cause your battery is low. So in this scenario, it definitely makes sense in having a back up plan. I have a car charger for my phone but I never drive very long distances and often use the GPS feature so it's never an ideal charging solution. This means I need a battery back up. As a principal I have disliked all cases that offer battery back up but then now that I'm (happily) stuck with this phone, I need to charge it on the go. The case is quite light, it... It is a nice battery pack but forget about taking flash photos as you get a ghost like flash back because the thickness of the camera hole in the case captures the light reflection..
