Other external batteries on the market use standard 1A inputs. Limeade Blast features a 2A input meaning the L180X can be charged in as little as 11 hours. Because the Limeade Blast charges devices anywhere, anytime and won't be drained after just a couple uses, it is the perfect portable external battery pack for a variety of situations.

I got one of these (the 18,000 mAh version) through a Kickstarter campaign (just ended 5/31/13) and was kind of surprised to see it on Amazon so quickly. So far, I really like this. I've charged my Kindle Paperwhite 3G, 6" High Resolution Display with Built-in Light, Free 3G + Wi-Fi - Includes Special Offers, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7-Inch, Wi-Fi), and my Samsung Galaxy S III/S3 GT-I9300 Factory Unlocked Phone - International Version (Pebble Blue) all on the same initial charge. The phone and Kindle still had about 1/2 charge left when I started, but...
I bought this recently, and it's the best external battery pack you can buy. I went through several days of researching reviews and specs of high-capacity batteries all over. Hands down, this is the BEST ONE. Buy it. Now.When I first got this, I was utterly amazed at the size and weight. It's quite small for a battery pack that packs this much power, and weighs so little comparatively to others with similar outputs. It fits very nicely in the pocket of my laptop bag. I travel A LOT, so size and capacity are two things I need. This has both! How?! I can have my cake and eat it too!?!??!-------------The TEST:The battery is reviewed to be about 90% efficient. That's unheard of for lithium-ion battery packs (which are roughly 60-70% efficient for decent packs). To put that to the test, I grabbed my iPad mini (4490mAh), iPhone 5 (1,440mAH), my buddy's Nokia Lumia 940 (3000mAh), and his iPad 2 (6944 mAh). That's 15,874 mAh total. All...
Very nice built and nice weight for the amount of power it provides. The 3 things I would have changed with this unit..1. Include a better quality LED light, it was a nice idea but the execution of that part was not great. It just doesnt provide very much light, not looking for cree LED but something brighter would have been nicer and very possible without using more power.2. A higher quality cable would have also been nice, the included cable just feels like a cheap cable you get from a ebay china seller that sell for a dollar.3. Include a 2amp charger to charge the battery pack itself, i'm lucky to have lots of 2amp chargers around but I know most people have only the ones included with their phones which are usually .5 or 1 amp. If it's taking too long to charge make sure you have a high quality 2amp charger.
