At the apple store website...on the bottom left side of the page under special deals click on refurbished mac...they are selling it for $1439+tax and you can get a full 3 year applecare warranty too. I am very satisfied with my macbook air that was shipped to me... it is brand new! no blemishes of any kind. The battery has lasted upto 9 hours! Overall excellent product. Too bad, amazon only sells a version without core i7 CPU upgrade. If they do and the price is around 1599 (since i5 version is at 1499 and apple store add 100$ for upgrading), I will order immediately. I purchase this laptop on may 10 and was very happy with it, because it works perfectly and I never had any issues with it so far. The 4GB memory lets me operate many programs at one time with no problems. The Intel HD graphics gives you the power to play HD games at high resolution. I love this laptop and it is my first MAC that I have purchased. So far I have no issues with it and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to buy a powerful laptop.
